that's a great idea i'd use it. there's one kind of similar - a racing video game that you have to keep cycling on an exercise bike to play

i have often thought that my ridiculous aquarobics class could use wave power to reduce the entrance price.

actually it's already been done! at least for video game consoles. I think they block the use of the game controller unless you peddle/step fast enough...
I forget the name of the product though :(

This idea was first talked about on the programme 'Genius' on BBC Radio 4. It is a novel idea, but I think that powering the DVD player is only the beginning.
Everyone harps on about the rise of energy bills, and the search for new green sources, this could be the way. Now, I'm not too sure how much one would need to cycle to generate x amount of electricity, but it would be great if the power could be contributed back to the national grid, wouldn't it?
